    Re: Nathan Trott

I thought and still think that Alnwick would more than suffice for us this season. So thought that Trott would be a waste of a signing really.

He has been more than solid up until today, where I think he was fantastic!

As Roy Keene would say, he did his job, he's supposed save those.

But he is good it's not only the saves, he's keeping a very young defence calm and they know they alwyas have an option to pass the ball back to him, which is so important and drastically reduces the nerves and mistakes.

If he was here last year we stay up simple as that, the last few keepers have been terrible, everyone can see it now, a good Manager, good Keeper and Striker are the most important at any club.

He's miles better in every aspect but especially taking pressure of the back four and midffield by provding a reliable option for an extra pass.

The defence is calm and you can feel even the crowd are getting calmer and are showing trust in him.

If he's off injured our pionts per game ratio drops immmediately, he's earned uas an extra four points in the last two games alone.

Man of the match for me.

I think we’d have lost that game without him.

Best keeper we've had for a good while. You can see why Copenhagen signed him in the first place

"I've no idea which moron at ccfc thought we needed a GK" was posted on here after Port Vale

I'd like to thank that moron :hehe:

100%. he made two great saves and a handful of very good stops on top of that. Trott won us that match yesterday. We bossed the game, but could have lost by 3 or 4.

He’s very vocal and commanding. He’s great with his feet and yesterday he was actually tested, and came through it with flying colours. What a signing 👏
