Probably going to receive some stick for this, but I feel some are going over the top about our promising player.
Over the last few games, we've needed Trott's agility to keep us in the game.
With the Kazakhstan game, as well as he played, they still had a lot of chances for the 114th team in the world.
The next few games against some of the better teams may bring us all back down to earth.

Probably considering he has only played 10 senior matches.

Amazingly in that time he has a full international debut and been part of 7 clean sheets.

He will have poor matches and city will lose and we will concede goals. I'm trying to just enjoy the start as it has been a while since I've looked forward to the actual football or felt positive about players coming through.

He has been superb and is growing in confidence every game. Any errors defensively will be coached out of him with experience.

The one thing you can’t teach in any player is his ability on the ball to make incisive passes that break the lines and this is why he will be a top player. He has all the attributes and is only 19.

He will have games a league 1 striker gives him the run around of course but he is going to be a top, top defender.

Let's enjoy him while we've got him. I suspect we've always wanted to become a selling club but we've not had much to sell in the past. Now we have with Lawlor, Kpakio, Ashford and others with possibly more to come through the ranks

I’d rather everything was kept on the downlow. Seems as though a shop window as big as Harrods is being created, not just by City connected people either.

Maybe a bit over the top, but he reminds me of Alan Hansen and Dik-Van-Dyke (whatever that Liverpool player’s name is)

I think he’s a player that will be even better the higher levels he plays
In this division, there’s going to be cloggers and forwards who can only rely on muscle and guts
Against teams in the Championship, he’s probably going to have more time on the ball, and let’s be fair he looks completely composed with the ball at his feet.

Will he have some tough times, definitely, will he have a dip in form, possibly
Those are temporary things and he’ll come through them

ATM I’m enjoying watching a side that works their socks off, that looks comfortable with possession, something we haven’t seen for years
It appears we’ve signed two players who are good enough to go straight into the first team
Who they replace is the difficult question, especially regarding Osho, as both Fish and Lawlor have been in a back five that hasn’t conceded a goal in open play in six games

As well as our lot working their socks off, we’re making opponents work even harder. The final whistle at most game see a few opposing players sink to their knees due to the ball chasing they’ve been doing for the past 90 odd minutes. We’re wearing teams out.

Good shout, it’s just another reason why we are light years ahead of the mind numbing dross we’ve been seeing over the last few years

A defender is not a god among men that can stop every attack. Same as a goalkeeper not being able to save every shot, or every striker getting a thundercunt on target. What's more, he only covers a certain portion of the pitch, the rest is down to other defenders and the CDM. Sometimes a defender can do everything right, and still be scored against.
