A few clubs have sat up and taken notice of our youngsters, given the way we’ve started the season. Should we continue in this vein January will be interesting and a test of our resistance.

        Based on what :hehe:

He's actually had to defend vs Kazakhstan! He's had the pipe and slippers on in some games this season

Of course we can’t over inflate him on one game (which he played superbly in) as we can’t throw the baby out with the bath water when he had a poor game earlier this season.

He will have poor matches and city will lose and we will concede goals. I'm trying to just enjoy the start as it has been a while since I've looked forward to the actual football or felt positive about players coming through.
He looks more assured with Trott behind him, as do all the players. Trott’s presence is vital, always giving the defenders that extra layer of support at the back.

Like v Peterborough where he probably should have been sent off and Port Vale.

Kazakhstan are crap. So are the majority of sides in this division. But there will no doubt be tough games and a different more physical challenge.

Burnley is the next big test, depending on who they play.

A lot of people were saying this before we played Luton and Plymouth.

As City (and Wales) fans let's just enjoy what is a clearly talented footballer, because unless we do an Ipswich and go back-to-back I don't see him being here beyond the next two years (and that's if we're lucky). Same with Kpakio.

Also, people saying he hasn't been properly tested yet forget where he made his debut.

Article on the BBC website today talking about youngsters with tremendous promise who never subsequently made it. Frederico Macheda is one mentioned, I wish Lawlor all the very best in his career and hope that he plays at the very top level(with us of course!!). However the game has many such stories so I hope that he will be able to keep balanced.

Could be the financial break that Tan has been waiting for. Sell a few players for big fees, then sell the club.

Kpakio is being watched too, he's a Premier League player in the making.

                              Ben Woodburn for example.
