Think the demand for this game is where the points system is already going to show a big flaw. The club have stated you can't collect points on League Cup and Vertu trophy away games, so are they going to make it points based to go but you don't collect a point for going potentially punishing people who went to Exeter or Burnley (I didn't), or will it be general sale like those two games were and no points collected?
You can't collect points towards away league games by attending away cup games.

I wouldn't be shocked to see priority for this given to those who went to away cup games this season. Dunno what they do after that mind :hehe:.

That should definitely happen? I didn’t do either but can’t see why it wouldn’t when you don’t accrue loyalty points for cup games in the league. Imagine everyone at Burnley was at Exeter so probably 500 tickets spare to give to those at the top of the league ladder then.

They have backed themselves into a corner with not counting cup games in the league games

This'll be Tuesday night, as Wrexham are on Sky on the Friday already.

I'm aware, I was making the point that if they make it points based to go off league games and people miss out by say 1 or 2 points but went to the Burnley and Exeter games then the club are just setting themselves up for more backlash.

General sale for this one will save themselves the biggest headache but that isn't happening.

Then they have the problem of having people who have done a shit tonne of aways but didn't go to those games kicking off.

I don't think they can use the league games for the reasons you say, certainly not for the initial criteria. I suspect it'll be Burnley and/or Exeter, then balance of tickets, then they'll move onto away league points. Be plenty of moans either way I suspect.

All bigger clubs tend to have separate loyalty schemes for cup games/european games/ league games when it comes to away fixtures

All those that went to Burnley/Exeter should be rewarded at least. Let’s be fair most will be the same ones at the top of the league list anyway.

100%. Are the morons at the club smart enough to do that? We'll see.

Everybody who went to Burnley & Exeter, should be able to get the first opportunity at tickets (I didn’t), then put the reminder to the points system.

I’d have preferred it at home. It would have been a decent crowd & I think more opportunity to progress

Disney should be lapping this one up, the loveable Welsh club versus the detestable one. If we beat them imagine how many Americans will hate us!

Wrexham fans (I use that loosely) tried starting a rivalry with Sheffield United after their cup tie a few years ago. Was amusing to watch.

Very winnable but could probably have done without the Welsh media circus.

Can we not call this a derby ffs, can get to London quicker.
