Were they just defending them as they weren't as bad as they were in Brisbane? The Aussie bowlers were just relentlessly accurate, and Nathan Lyon showed the benefits of having a specialist spinner in the team, whilst England had a part time white ball spinner instead.

        Another drab day for England.
A bit of resistance from Stokes and Archer, but the bowling has been lethargic, thoughtless and devoid of any challenge for the Aussie batters.
        Pathetic.

The same ball which k¡IIed Phil Hughes in 2013 but a different helmet which saved Ben Stokes

It comes to something when England scrape themselves to 200-6, still well over 200 behind, and it’s described as a good day because they battled hard! I’m almost looking forward to the post defeat interviews and seeing who is the most defensive this time - McCullum or stokes.

The good bit, Australia 152 all out, five wickets for Tongue, then England start batting and it’s 8=3 with Brook charging down the pitch to Starc first ball

15=4,Root, who’s having a terrible time of it apart from that one hundred, out for a duck. Neser’s taken two wickets and top scored for Australia.

110 all out - there's been some really poor England teams sent to Australia since the 2005 Ashes, but none of them have made me as angry as this one. They have a test and a half to save themselves from being seen as the worst Englaneam to tour Australia in sixty years, maybe ever.

England 77-2 at tea chasing 175. Most teams would win from here, but there’s still plenty of time for them to chuckle it away.

                              A win at last.
Even if the pitch wasn't the best, England bowled much better than they have in the other games.
Test matches shouldn't last 2 days though.

An absolute disaster for the Melbourne ground staff.

Arguably their biggest sporting event and they produce a wicket so in favour of the bowlers its all over in 2 days.

I wonder how much the refunds will come to?
