I’m perfectly happy with how we’re playing while the table looks like it does and we’re averaging two plus points a game.

I just don't want anything to wrong, we've lost 5 games already. Mistakes have been made. I honestly think this team is capable of winning every game. I think we need to more in the first half. I think that if we don't score in the the first 45 minutes of a game with 60-70% possession there has to be something that could improve. I'm not complaining. This is just an observation. Like someone mentioned earlier I don't want us to screw up this opportunity. I don't think we will. But I am afraid we might. Can we afford to lose 5 more games? I suppose we can if we win another 15.

        Great day for ‘ominous’ Luton.

Past the halfway stage and we have to lose 6 games before Luton can overtake us. That’s assuming they win all theirs.

          Ominous indeed.

Was thinking the same … certainly don’t see any evidence of them as a threat for the top 2 positions. Would need a hell of a run, and apart from stringing two wins together last month, have shown no sign of hitting any real stride.

Bradford and Lincoln are the two teams who’ve impressed, and bother me most.

Whilst not romping games, we look so composed and in control of games it’s a shock after the last few years. Enjoying this season far more than I thought, and great to see the players embrace a totally different style of play.

              Peterborough anyone?

Play-offs are a distinct possibility for them.

Best form in the last 6 matches, goal difference back to zero.

              Amazing given their god-awful start.

Circle the wagons. Luton lost today and that will make them more powerful than anyone could ever imagine. God have mercy on our souls

Could have put money on Baldy contributing to this thread after yesterday results. Given the chance to piss on someone’s chips he gets a strange feeling inside and gets more excited than a fat kid in a cake shop.
The last prediction he made was he wasn’t gonna spend another penny down the City till Tan had scarpered. That went well!
I stand by my prediction and think ourselves and Luton will finish top 2.
Wonder if Baldy will make a prediction at this stage, or just keep churning out other peoples stats, like a robot.

Just the 16 points between us and Luton now. :hehe:

I'm watching them now. They're just as bad as everyone else in this league.

The quality of this football is beyond a joke. Awful teams

                          Re: Luton

They lead 2-1 somehow. Lincoln and Bradford are the only two that I think will challenge us for the title.

you think they will win 4 more than us from now until the end of the season?

apparently we score 3x as many in the second half as the first, so it doesn't really matter if we have all that possession in the first alf, we'll do the business in the second.

The first half is to tire them out, the second half is to batter them and win. The rotation of players and substitutes plays a significant role in BBM's methods.
