  • Aaron Ramsey

Would be a great end him coming back here on minimal wages, going out on a high whilst keeping himself in contention for a potential WC.

He could coast through games like yesterday with one hamstring and one leg such is the lack of quality in this division but sadly it probably wonÂ’t happen for a number of reasons. Mainly the way he left the club in the summer and the potential conflict of an initial potential rival candidate for manager being in the building.

BBM and his staff would also manage his minutes as they have done so well with others. Bulut playing him constant 90s the start of last season still crazy

Hopefully thereÂ’s still a chance of a fairytale five months

I like the story but it wouldn't be practical and would stop kids coming through.

It wont happen as his body cant cope any more.

        He should just retire.

Who would it stop coming through in that number 10 role over the next 4-5 months? It is just cover for Colwill’s injury. If anything any youth player would love the chance to play alongside him. His experience in the dressing room would be invaluable also.

It’s a shame bridges have been burned though as just makes total sense on minimal wages

            Re: Aaron Ramsey

Kellyman , Robinson , Willock , J Colwill , Robertson would all play the number 10 roll better than the current version of Ramsey.

              No no no no no!

I'm fatigued by the use of "...manage his minutes" in relation to Aaron Ramsey. If we signed him now, we'd be hearing "...hopefully, back in training in 3 weeks".

The bait has been well and truly taken, I see.

Oh, I don't think the OP is fishing - I think he's deadly serious.

                    Re: Aaron Ramsey

Ramsey was an embarrassment last season. His Cardiff City career ended a year too late. He's finished.

                      A pretty daft suggestion.
Probably the daftest since someone said in another thread that doing away with the offside rule altogether was a good idea

                        Only Kellyman there

He'd be absolutely fine in this poor league. There's zero pace to it, most teams sit in a low block and he'd not have to get out of second gear. Championship, I agree it would be a waste of time but he would be fine in this league.

Won't happen for the reasons stated but it's a shame as would be a lovely way to go out for him.

The grief he gets on this messageboard and X is crazy for one of our own
