    It was a bit silly, their turnover of recent managers deserves to be highlighted given that for 52 of the last 81 years only two men held the post.

      It is a stupid comparison. For all of their troubles since 2013 Man United have won the FA Cup twice, the League Cup twice and Europa League.

      We have won the Championship (second division in old money)

      It makes perfect sense that we would have double the turnover in managers

        No club will risk the argument of justified summary dismissal. They would have to prove a "fundamental breach" of contract.

        In some cases it would be arguable, but the fallout in publicity and the exposure of the internal workings of the club and its hierarchy would be too damaging. So they just pay up and move on.
