    Re: NFL semi finals

Watch it for an extended period of time, you’ll learn to track where the puck “should” be from the action going on and then it’s not difficult to find it.

Definitely the most watchableof the four major U.S. leagues in my opinion, even better in person.

Some Brits don’t get NFL/MLB, and some Americans don’t get cricket/soccer, that’s not to say any of them sports are “boring”, they’re just not fully understood I guess.
Americans! at this point in time their judgement on anything does not count. Shit game bowing to advertising.
I have never seen more than 10 mins. And 8 mins of that was people waffling on about stats and percentages.

To the fans of NFL, dont the stop start and long breaks get a bit annoying? Or is it part of the experience for you?
The superbowl is the worst for the breaks. I much prefer the other playoff games. In the regular season I tend to watch redzone which basically cuts to games where the ball is in the redzone so you are tracking all the matches rather than one (and no adverts). As I like the sport in general rather than having a team, that works really well.

The breaks don't bother me much when I do watch a game. Except the superbowl and the half time show, which is a killer

God knows how the majority of the 65 players on the team roster who never get on the field of play feel especially in weather like that!. Imagine the kicker sat in his hut with a coffee watching Tom & Jerry videos getting the call for his 30 second cameo to go out in that weather. What a stupid game that has teams within teams with individuals who have probably never met each other and have to wander around on the sidelines for THREE hours. Pity the poor buggers that are morbidly obese who actually get on the pitch and whose sole purpose is to push and shove but , in the whole of their careers, never touch the football. At best I might watch NFL highlights but to watch a whole game, no thanks!
Next time. Try reading a book. Or watch football on YouTube. Don't do things you don't want to if you don't have to. Life is too short.

I usually watch the 1st half of the Super Bowl, go to bed half time, watch the 2nd half in the morning

When you’re going on 82 like me you don’t need to tell me life’s too short. I’ve been following the City since I was 6 but apart from that you could say I’ve had a bien vida bien vivida. I’m still doing tree surgery work involving climbing but I don’t do things I don’t have to. So there!

I've tried, and I can't get into it at all. Spent a lot of time in Pennsylvania too where people were Penn State mad (their ground holds 110,000) and it can be a fun afternoon watching it, but I don't enjoy the sporting aspect at all.
