Next match: Pre-season. Saturday, July 11th | FC Midtjylland (H) @ Cardiff City Stadium, 12:30pm -
All pre-season fixtures
No, I don’t like them at all. First of all, it means you lose the whole day to football (not much time to do anything in the morning), and secondly, my pub of choice doesn’t open until twelve, so no pre-match beer.
I quite like them depending on the time and location of where my son is playing in the morning. Usually go straight from there to the match. Free in the late afternoon, early evening.
If we have done well, also sometimes nice to see how the other teams are getting on.
It's only anecdotal evidence but my lads team have four players who regularly watch City with their Dad's.
That don't happen for a 12:30 ko.
It'll be interesting to see what the attendance is for the Lincoln match next month if both teams are still 1st and 2nd? I would've expected a crowd of perhaps 22000 or 23000 if at 3pm.
Similarly if the Bolton match gets moved in April?

I feel we’ve had more early kick offs this season than usual.
Does anyone like me prefer them?
There have been more because we have been relegated and sky rarely show league one games on a Friday or Sunday but they do show popular league one games on a Saturday lunchtime.
I prefer earlier kickoffs as I find I hang around in the morning waiting for 3pm to come around but 12:30 kickoffs means more time out in the evening.
Plymouth (A) and Lincoln (H) are scheduled for 12:30 kick-offs.
I'm not bothered by the home 12:30 kick-offs, but I live in Cardiff. I suspect I'd be irritated by them if I lived further afield.
I love the 12:30 away games. Watching our game on TV and then watching the rest of the results come through during the afternoon is good fun. I don't travel to away games these days, so it's not an inconvenience. I appreciate it's a pain in the butt for those who do travel away regularly, but doing so is their choice. If they don't like it, they don't have to go, it's not compulsory.
