We’ve been spoilt rotten this season. For so long, we had so many ways we could score and the football was great to watch as well. However, currently, we have a real lack of options at the top end of the pitch and the way the manager chose to cope with it worked like a dream at first, but the truth is we can only play one way for now and it’s become easy for teams to cope with.

Although I’ve never been a booer, I can often sympathize with those that do, but not today - that was the entitled modern day football fan at its worst.

At the end with seconds left and an opportunity to at least put the ball in the box we again played slow build up play and lost the ball. So frustrating and it boils over.

We don’t half live in an .angry world these days, full of people who throw their toys out of the pram if they don’t get their own way.

If we'd got the points we expected from the last two games, we'd almost be there too. So frustrating. Two home games one point gained. I do hope BBM doesn't say we played well today.

Sort of match where we needed Rubin or Kellyman to produce some magic.
We needed a target man or a 30 yard screamer….they go a goal down and the game changes….

Are you seriously suggesting that football fans have just started moaning and complaining after a poor display ‘these days’?

                Absolutely.

The lack of urgency as the game was fizzling out was so frustrating, The defence and Lawlor in particular were playing like we were 1-0 up not looking for a winner!!!

ItÂ’s all very well people saying we needed a bit of magic from our Rubin and Kellyman but the defence and Wintle were playing the game by themselves half the time and not threading anything through to them.

The one time we did manage to get behind their two banks of defence 2nd half Ashford inexplicably turned back on himself instead of crossing and laid it back to Ng whilst they got back into shape. I was apoplectic.

I donÂ’t agree with the booing, I think this squad have enough in the bank this season, but I totally understand peoples frustration.

What I’m suggesting is that many crap and some not so crap City sides have been booed off the pitch since I watched them for the first time in 1963, but I’ve never heard a team that had an eleven point cushion in an automatic promotion place be booed off. Mind you that’s probably because, with the possible exception of 12/13 I’m not sure a team I have followed has been as far clear as this one is - this manager and squad deserve far better than that based on what they’ve done this season.

That "little bit of difference in a moment" you speak about cannot take place if the ball is being played from side to side in front of an 11 man defence with seeming little urgency.
                    BBM picks the team.
The team have done plenty of work on tactics.
                    Those tactics not working.
Surely time for plan B or C, BBM's call

You say "it is just on the players" and it is this I disagree with.
                    I'll give you an example.
I have said before that I like Ollie Tanner as he can provide something different.
                    His assists are very good.
The problem I have with him though is that he often wastes very good opportunities and his assists could be much higher.
He again had many opportunities, many early in the game, but time and again he fluffed his lines by hitting the player in front of him.
Frustrating for everyone, not least the strikers.
Blackpool's defence grew in confidence with every block and I reckon we could still be out there now and not breached it!
In my opinion it is on the manager as well as the players and he'd have done better to have tired something different following a couple of poor results, maybe swapping OT for Willock being one.

You say we are up anyway (BTW I remember you saying that we were certainties to go up months ago) so it doesn't matter . It does matter, to a lot of people it matters.

We may well have been spoilt by our 1st half of the season form as someone mentioned earlier, but if Bolton or Bradford had performed like perhaps they should have, it could quite easily be squeaky bum time.
FWIW, I too think we will go up but we are fortunate that both teams didn't win today as this much needed 2 week break would have been long and pretty uncomfortable.

Rubin and Kellyman are not seeing enough of the ball. All well and good going down the flanks but it's not having our best players being involved as much as they should be.

I can't make a call. The one person i speak to who follows city and whose opinion i respect thinks we'll struggle, and he's a good judge. I can't call it, don't know why.

4hrs 30mins at home without a goal and not looking like we'll score at home for another 5 hrs or more! I wasn't booing but I don't blame anyone who did!
