Exactly it's negotiation and an come and get me advert, he'll love to stay with Cardiff and BBM (if he stays) but money will talk if it's a decent increase, it will be worth moving home and starting at a new club.

    50/50 I'd say.

I'd be happy to negotiate with him personally. He's done enough to earn it. Turner and Tyrer are both unknown quantities to be starting keepers for us.

          Re: Trott Says No

In my opinion, lower placed Premier League clubs, or high placed Championship clubs, would consider him too lightweight with corners/crosses/long throws.

Being comfortable with the ball at your feet is great, but the physicality needed is becoming increasingly important at the top.

Mid-table Championship teams might want to take a punt on him - but I hope that selection of clubs won't attract him.

Nothing wrong with Turner, but will he be offered a new contract ?

Totally agree with this. You can see it in Pep's approach by bringing in Donnarumma shows a clear preference for an elite shot-stopper over the ball-playing keeper.

At the end of the day, reliability between the posts still comes first, and managers seem more willing now to sacrifice some distribution ability.

Turner signed a contract extension last November, which runs until the end of the 27/28 season.

Trott held up his end of the bargain and helped us get promoted. If he has a better offer then good luck to him. We now move on

It's the beginning of a negotiation. I doubt if it's even true.

Isn’t this just churning the same story from last week, where the conclusion was personal terms need to be negotiated

No one accepts the first offer do they?

If its true its akin to receiving an offer on a house.
Your house in on the market for say £500k. You receive an offer of £400k.
Of course you're going to say no.

They do if the person making the offer is Ridsdale.
