Not seen the picture myself, but, apparently, there is one where he’s in the background when the Southampton manager is being presented with one of his manager of the month awards.

Here’s a precedent from women’s football from two years ago where the team concerned were, effectively, kicked out of the tournament they were competing in and the manager concerned lost her job.

Canada's Olympic women's football team are deducted six points and coach Bev Priestman is banned for a year by Fifa over a drone spying scandal.

Coincidentally, not only is it indeed a typo that is identical to a Dutch word (the verb 'to do') but I happen to be on a train pulling out of s'Hertogenbosch right now....

This isn't fair on Hull, Middlesbrough lost, and Southampton should be kicked out. So let Hull automatically take the prize

They won't promote the club that finished 6th without actually winning the playoffs offs. If you're going to promote anyone in such circumstances you may as well just void the play offs and send Millwall up.

Whatever they decide there is going to be legal action for some time to come from whoever feels hard done by.

Could it be a case of hold fire & hope & pray that Hull win.

Surely even worse if Southampton win though. No doubt they were hoping Middlesbrough would have done the job.

Expulsion was the only possible sanction if found guilty.

I really didn’t expect the EFL to have a backbone and hit them with a meaningful punishment. I assumed it would be a fine
