I think you might be right.
Most plausible hypothesis is that he’s putting the books right in advance of something like that.
Hard to see what else he could be there for .

Vincent Tan is almost 70, has many other business interests, 11 kids, rumoured to be seeing a new 26 year old "wife" . I'm not surprised he doesn't want to spend much time personally overseeing things.
