Wilson has made 82 (+9) appearances in the Championship compared to 20 (+11) in the Premier League. My feeling is his career stats will continue along similar lines. I'm pretty certain he'll play in the Premier League again at some stage, but I doubt he'll ever properly establish himself there. Can't quite put my finger on why, but I just don't think he's a top level player.

don't forget he's still only 24 and playing for a different club each season isn't probably that helpful.
I think we will surprise a few of his doubters this season.

As usual, Wilson’s spent plenty of time on the floor so far. Decent strike for the goal, but he does like to roll around on the grass a lot.

He can and will be PL level, but in fairness he’s not absolutely top draw.
