Strange approach to that fifth batting point, it seemed that there were minds changed quite often - some signs of spin from the pitch as well.

It seemed like weighell fancied a go at it, poor neser looked comfortable blocking and going for singles, but just couldn't get near the ball whenever he really went for it. Was quite painful watching Cooke and Neser this morning, but the runs they eked out are looking very valuable now. The more Leicester struggle , the better those innings look.

Sussex in a strong position against middlesex after day 3 aswell. Notts and Derbyshire not playing this week, a win should take us top
