Grace Rd is now called The Uptonsteel County Ground. I know sponsorship keeps the ship sailing on but I despair on occasions.

That corporate nonsense doesn't really matter, except the club gets money from it.

Sophia Gardens is still Sophia Gardens, though it was Swalec. The Cardiff City Stadium is a good name for us. But if calling it something ridiculous for a lot of money by some deluded company should happen, I wouldn't be too bothered.

WG Grace is a rather more substantial historical entity than Uptonsteel, I feel......

First T20 of the year, against a strong Surrey side. Enjoyed that 'stop' by timm. Smashed flush on the shoulder by an absolute rocket off the bat on his follow through. Ooohs and aahs all around. But his eyes never left the ball. Proper fast bowler mentality, f@ck the pain, my shoulders just saved 4 runs against me.

Totally agree. We've given the Surrey/England mafia another chance to promote the utterly average Jamie smith as international class, by dropping him twice and bowling some Utter shite to him. Still, 146/7. We need to switch on now and take advantage of this, keep the foot on the throat and get that win on the board
