I know what he means though. Now they’re bowling better, it feels like if they get one win, more will follow. It better happen soon though - we’re going to be losing Labuschagne and, possibly, Neser in a few weeks time.

Try to get a batting point tomorrow because if the Cardiff wicket flattens out like it usually does as the game goes on, we need a big lead if we are to get that elusive win - the forecast doesn’t look too bad for the next two days, but it looks like there’ll be showers for much of Sunday.

I was there until tea and it is amazing how a player of top quality shines out amongst County Championship journeymen.

I know he only got 40, but Labuschagne was such a pleasure to watch. Having him and Neser playing for Glammy is like having Haaland and De Bruyne playing for City.

It couldn't happen in any other sport.

                  I love cricket.

Not been able to watch as much as normal on the stream today post lunch, so I saw very little of Labuschagne’s innings, but he was taking the piss in the latter stages of his century at Headingley. In lots of ways, Neser has been as good a signing as Labuschagne though - I’d barely heard of him when we signed him and I had it in my head for some reason that he was a one day specialist. Pleased for James Harris (another bowling prospect who suffered because of poor coaching) as well, they’re great figures and I hope he still has it in him to step up to the plate as third seamer because we have two fine opening bowlers by Division Two standards.

watched an hour before stumps and the ground looked empty.

if the stream is for free I wonder how the game is sustainable from a financial standpoint?

I think it's a recognition that streaming four day matches was hardly going to result in a huge loss of income by the counties as the crowds were small in pre streaming days.

The counties are greatly reliant on support from the ECB through things like sale of TV rights and the domestic T20 competition has always been able to attract big crowds, but the advent of the Hundred may mean that this income stream is not as large as it once was.

I listened to a podcast this week which spoke about a report in the Daily Mail I think it was that the Hundred is under threat because IPL franchises are sniffing around with a view to creating a spin off tournament in this country in the same way they've done in South Africa - I think there'd be a big potential audience if a UK version of the IPL was ever created, but I dread to think what the implications would be for the county game.

wished I lived closer as I would for sure like to come down and watch. I was a junior member and started when they played at the Arms Park. loved it!

They get more money from ads than bums on seats. Anyone who wants to go, is still going to go. Somerset got over a million streams for their's.

The crisp tournament is done anyway. It is going to get canned. Such a shame .
