142-9. Not a good day. The bowlers will need to hit back hard when Sussex bat.
Sussex racing away at the moment as conditions ease - Hove is one of those grounds for us, we’ve not won a County Championship game down there since 1975
Although what I say will look daft if Glamorgan’s batting collapses in a heap again today, it still looks like a game which has been influenced too much by winning the toss to me.

it does glamorgan got the worst of everthing on the 1st day
Sussex had to bat in difficult conditions on day one too. We have been comprehensively outplayed. Hopefully Leics lose so that the gap remains significant ahead of the bottom two.

The batting conditions were much easier for Sussex on day one, but, after a good start, our second innings folded in very disappointing fashion. Ingram is having a strange feast or, mostly, famine season and Carlson getting run out looks bad for a side striving to avoid defeat - that said, I’VE not seen it,so maybe I’m not being fair there.

It was still grey on Friday afternoon. Was it much easier for Sussex? Not a game for Ingram to remember. Not seen the run out either but it's not great when we are looking to save the game.
As long as Leics lose we will still be well clear of the bottom two.
Two nights in Brighton, first visit there in 30+ years. Two days at the cricket, proper friendly county ground with real Harvey's beer on sale. While the toss was critical, Sussex scored 500+ in good weather while we managed significantly less. The Sussex 10th wicket partnership was grim, we fell apart and dropped several catches. I left to catch my train home the ball before we finally bowled them out, should have gone earlier!
A bad three days but it's been an unexpectedly decent season so far so I'll let them off that one.
