I have been very critical of Slade, don't know why I disliked him so much , not nice to see the guy lose his job though.

I think most people just realised that we were never going anywhere with him and were more angry at the appointment than the man himself.

Wonder if he got Armitage or Leicester United promoted? If he didn't, it's now eleven clubs managed without a promotion and counting - the word "journeyman" (a worker or sports player who is reliable but not outstanding) could have been invented with Slade in mind.
