The 129 Grimsby fans who made the journey left Russ know that they want him sacked in the morning.

The club tweeting them thanking them and wishing them a safe journey home has gone down too well on twitter.

Considering Cardiff are only in the position they are now due to his shrewd dealings in the transfer market and methods of stabilizing a flailing ship, id say he was indeed building for our future. You cant possibly say that we'd have the same team and opportunity without those seasons of consolidation.

Give the poor bloke a break - he did wonders for the team you claim to support
