There's a local derby against the wurzels for the under 18s at Leckwith this morning, kick off at 11 o clock.

I don't think it's been mentioned in this thread before, but the club website is saying that we are playing West Brom at Leckwith in the next stage of the under 21 Premier League Cup at Leckwith on Friday 7 March, kick off at 7 pm.

Bristol City are well clear in our league so no surprise there. They knocked us out the FA Youth Cup, bullied us a bit, but went to Villa and lost 3-2 having been 2-1 up with five minutes left so they seem to be a very decent side. We needed a full team out today but there were a few missing, I assume Jac Thomas and Dan Ola are injured while Mannie Barton was with the Welsh u-19 squad this week and Rob Tanciewicz was with the u-16s (he's not 16 till June).

I haven't seen much youth stuff this season but I'm trying to keep up with it. Feels like there's a bit more relevance about it at the minute, Riza genuinely seems interested in the youngsters and trying to improve them. The pathway is there between the age groups and progress has been made into creating a pathway into the first team too. It may be a false dawn, of course, but there are some encouraging signs.

Not sure much can be gleaned from the under 21 team for this afternoon’s match at Bristol City, but I see both of the usual centrebacks are missing.

No Lawlor or Cook could indicate at least 1 in the squad for tonight?

Giles seems to be cemented as emergency left back cover now too?

Doesn’t look like. It’s rare for one of our under 21 away matches to be streamed, but I can remember at least one of them being in the past, so I was hopeful it would be - can’t find anything to that effect though.

Just went on YouTube, Bob, and it said starting in 20mins30sec, but I have seen this before, and it did not open when the match started
