Next match: Pre-season. Saturday, July 11th | FC Midtjylland (H) @ Cardiff City Stadium, 12:30pm -
All pre-season fixtures
Half time, City1-0 up. They’re a bit lucky to be ahead considering that the wurzels, who are much the taller side, were the better team for the first thirty minutes. Tom Davies did well while City had a lot of defending to do, but they gradually began to improve and, after playing as poorly as I’ve seen them this season, they began to look more like their usual selves in the final quarter of an hour of the half. Cody Twose forced a good save out of the Bristol keeper before we took the lead just before the break with a really good goal- Dakari Mafico’s fine ball from deep set Luey Giles free down the left and, as he usually does, Giles produced a quality cross which was powerfully headed in from ten yards by Etete.
Nyakhuwa, who has played as well as I’ve seen him today, makes it 3-1. City playing really well at the moment, great pressing and some lovely bits of skill.
No Isaac Jefferies in the squad yesterday. No point in reading too much into that but worth keeping an eye on.
Highlights of the u-18s win against Brentford on Saturday here. The dug-out partially obscures the red card incident, Jac Thomas seemed bemused by the decision.

Cody Twose, Dakarai Mafico, Dylan Lawlor, Luey Giles, Ronan Kpakio and Trey George all in Wales u19 squad
Joined by City old boys Lewys Benjamin & Gabriele Biancheri
That’s great, think I’m right in saying all of them bar Trey George have been in a first team squad already.
I saw somewhere on Twitter that Wales under 17 were 3-0 down today to Italy at half time.
Another thing I saw on Twitter is something about the under 21 game v Everton tonight being streamed for Everton members - City’s media dept has been e-mailed by a City fan asking if there is any chance it can be made available to City fans.
