Right? Supporting a manager they thought would get us relegated and being proud of it. And looking down on others who wanted what was best for the club. Weird.

Quite pessimistic at the moment. No manager, weak squad. Still a chance of staying up but we need points on the board urgently.

We are one or two players short of a side that should stay up easily. That position can (or should) be sorted in the January window. I see no reason to surrender the season just yet. We'll be okay.

I’d be fascinated to know the nine or ten players who you think have shown the sort of form that will keep us up this season. The season will be all but a third finished after today and we’ve been awful so far. We’ve got a nucleus of experienced pros who have spent much of their careers in or around the top half of the Championship and so you’d like to think they would guarantee our safety, but they’re the ones who have been most responsible for the errors that have been costing us points.

Teams usually need ~45 points to survive and there’s still 63 points to play for by the time January comes. So no, not relegated by January.

Absolutely.

In 2017 Rotherham were all but mathematically relegated with 8 games to go, having a measly 17 points after 38 games. Burton were 21st with 41 points and were also 40 goals better off. March relegations are exceptionally rare.

By the end of March we'll have 7 games left to play, so 21 points left to win. With 7 games to go, the team in 21st will be on around 40 points. We'd expect to be relegated if we have 18 points by then, meaning we'd only win 7 points in our next 24 games.

Well we are not 6 points adrift

There is enough quality in this squad to stay up

Forest were dead in the water not that long ago , Swansea have got a couple of wins and they are having an open top bus tour of the mumbles

We clearly need a good manager in pronto to sort things out

Cooper went in and sorted out Forest. Forest however had some footballers of Championship standard to sort out.
