Re: Nuno available after Spurs sacking
Probably out of his league yes but you have to question the application of their top players.Originally posted by Croesy Blue View PostOne of those managers who are very out of our league but also after how poorly his spurs team played not sure where he’ll go next.
Wasn't he manager of the month recently?
Edit: Sorry just re-read your post.
Yes out of our league I'd agree.

Yeah madness really. Why appoint him in the first place if not fully backing him.Originally posted by MacAdder View PostProbably out of his league yes but you have to question the application of their top players.

Re: Nuno available after Spurs sacking
plays very dour football, but has very close links with a super agent Jorge Mendes.
those kind of links to super agents seem to be a double edged sword. Wolves definitely got some great signings out of it, but then there were deals like spending £36 million on an 18 year old Fabio Silva . I don't think it's healthy in the long run to have agents so embedded in your recruitment process

Re: Nuno available after Spurs sacking
And another club’s fans decide that their manager has to go because he does not fit in with the team’s “identity”. Meanwhile, Cardiff fans have to put up with the crap that we’ve had to watch for close to a decade because of a myth that we’re happy to watch it. As I mentioned in the Eddie Newton thread, he “gets” Cardiff City to the extent that he said we play aggressive, in your faces football, not like a Swansea would perhaps, but Cardiff sides have also been able to play - they could take sides on in a war if that’s what they wanted and, if they preferred to play football, City could do that as well.
Somewhere along the line we lost the ability to compete in the second of those options and. for most of this season we’ve also lost the first one.
As for Nuno, it was another Mourinho type appointment- someone who is just not cut out to manage Spurs. Therefore, shouldn’t questions be asked about Daniel Levy? Seems to me he’s cocked that club up completely in recent years.

Re: Nuno available after Spurs sacking
Watford next, after they sack ranieri in January. After that, west brom in the premier League after the board decide on a ' more progressive approach' sacked by west brom for failure in the playoffs, a stint in Italy which is successful, then back here with wolves after they find themselves mid table in the championship around 2025.

Think they got a bit desperate when they hired him….can’t see conte lasting that long either….Spurs might be the only club paying managers than usOriginally posted by MacAdder View PostTakes no prisoners Levy.
Yeah good post.
We could do with a few Portuguese internationals to challenge for the playoffs

Don’t like the guy but this seems harsh. Someone said about City fans having to ‘put up’ with rubbish. Well let’s be honest here, we put up with years of play off qualifying and 2 promotions and 2 seasons in a league I thought I’d only see on MOTD in my lifetime. We are only not putting up with it because we are threatened with relegation.
