My nephews Thai wife did this test today, to get a British passport.
You need to get 18/24 to pass, She got 14 so failed. She only gets 1 more attempt.
I’ve tried the Test 5 times this afternoon & passed only twice.
Some of the questions are truly ridiculous and some a total lottery.
The questions change with every attempt.
Try it. I think that many will get deported.

It seems a bit random. Are there study guidelines? I doubt many experienced drivers could pass the driving test questions without reading up on them first.

There can't be that many questions if so many people got the ski centre one.

Sounds like she didn't put the effort into revising.

I don’t know how anyone could get that ski centre one right? Bizarre, it’s hardly something you would associate with the uk?

Oh, I'm not disputing that it exists. However, would you honestly expect someone from an overseas country to know the answer to that question?

I got 18 out of 20. Wrong on the 1st Amendment and wrong on the date of the Constitution.

Still a bit random though.

Wow. That's a really difficult citizenship test.

I will never forget the test I took when I got my American citizenship. I was asked, in the presence of a testing officer, to name the president of the United States, the name of the governor of my state, and to write on a piece of paper: "The American flag is red, white and blue."

And that was it.

I was ready to bang on about various articles and clauses of the U.S. Constitution and even to name all the presidents.

Very disappointing.
