''Incandescent' Everton complain to PL over referee decisions'

    https://www.skysports.com/Football/12554018

Obviously the drop is a bit too close for comfort.

Well it's only fair they get their share of dodgy decisions. They are one of the big six after all.

    Edit: Sorry about link 😔

Think they have a case, although f all will be done about it.

They do have a case alright.

It's just that everyone wanted the latest technology to be brought in to make the game "fairer" but all it has done is highlight even more the bias in the game.
When a referee made a poor decision back in the day, people weren't happy but could accept human error.

Welcome to the Real world Lampard.

If we left decisions to the referee and not have technology running the game it would be much better.

I can understand how the ref could not see/give the handball. But when it is reviewed by VAR, how is that possible? Not only was Rodri's arm out, but he actively uses it to control the ball.

Rhodri knew it too as he just hoofs the ball away straight after.
Man City players never do such a thing.

Catterall is complaining about the Taylor result as well, they're going to look at that. Has a result in boxing ever been changed? And what can really happen here in Evertons case?

Don’t think a boxing result has ever been changed, but this should set a president.
Daylight robbery, or in this case, nightlight robbery took place in Glasgow.

                  Happened before will happen again.

Same as football decisions, we will cry over being robbed again as are other teams week in week out and the refs still crack on.

The ref also got it wrong.

Yes I know that, my point is that human mistakes happen and it’s a game where you have situations where they will occur, get back to the way the game was. VAR is ruining the game.
If the ref doesn’t see an infringement then that’s the way it is.

So the big teams will get even more decisions going their way?
At least with VAR the smaller teams have half a chance of getting the obvious ones go their way like off side.
Chelsea's equaliser against us being an example.
VAR would have disallowed that one for certain
He was more than a yard offside but neither the linesman or ref noticed.
It's far from perfect but the refs are so poor now it has to stay and improve over time.

Football is corrupt. Everyone knows that. Manchester City we’re going to win that game whatever happened. It used to be the lesser clubs that were affected with decisions like this one. Not any more.
