Football is corrupt. Everyone knows that. Manchester City we’re going to win that game whatever happened. It used to be the lesser clubs that were affected with decisions like this one. Not any more.

How do you explain Man City losing at home to Spurs last week then ? How do you explain Man Utd not beating Watford at home as well ?

To heap more misery upon the club their owner Russian billionaire Alisher Usmanov has had his assets frozen by the EU. He has also been given a travel ban.

Usmanov doesn’t own Everton, but he does have links with them.
