I've just had a skim through Championship sides in 22nd after 34 games and at the end of the season since 2000.

The lowest number of points a side in 22nd has had after 34 games is 29 points; the average is nearly 32 points. Derby have already played 36 games for their 24 points, while Barnsley and Peterborough have 23 and 21 points respectively after 34 games.

The biggest points increase from 34 games to the end of the season was 18 in 2012/13. Peterborough won 18 points in last 12 games to finish on 54 but were pipped by Barnsley.

If Barnsley managed 18 points between now and the end of the season they'd be 1 point shy of our current tally and be on 41 points. That would be the joint lowest points total for a side relegated in 22nd since 2000. As the bottom 3 are far worse off statistically than any other bottom 3 since 2000, 41 points would be some incredible achievement.

For us to go down we'd have to lose 12 on the spin (beating the current club record by 4) while a side near the bottom would have to go on a record breaking run in their last 12 games.
