This is such an unbelievably arrogant attitude to have, it's not box ticking if you prefer to fill it in in your first language. Who the hell do you think you are?
I am simply voicing an opinion that its daft . I am not advocating death to Welsh speakers .

Why don't you just opt out of receiving a paper copy of your council tax bill and go online only. That'll save you receiving both versions.
Here's a bit of light reading for you about 'Bilingual Cardiff'. Sorry if you feel its a waste of time. I think the progress has been brilliant and long may it continue.
In spite of everyone and everything, we are still here.
According to the last census 11.1% are fluent in Welsh.
I'd be interested to know the percentages of those that speak Somali, Arabic etc. so Sludge can support his case that providing a Welsh language platform is a waste of time and money when comparing the absolute need for the provision of other languages to support some communities within Cardiff.
Do you think the elderly Welsh speaking community in Cardiff.....let's say cathedral Road .....has a very disadvantaged community of people who have a very poor command of English for use on official documents in similar number to those in South Cardiff from say the Yemeni community ?

The increase in people speaking Welsh is largely down to kids being taught it in school , according to that .
That's fine as suggests that's the best way òf preserving the language .
What effect do you think having bilingual Council forms has on the strength of the language ?
Cant think of any negatives, but I'll answer that with a question and ask what effect do you think not having bilingual forms will have on the strength of the language? Will adopting that position strengthen or weaken the language?
The lengths people will go to not to concede an argument
What happens on here is, someone will start a thread on a topic. Soon lots of other posters read it, then naturally decide to comment on it, and give an opinion.
The hilarity starts when certain posters will go to any lengths to ‘prove’ their opinion is the one that is correct and matters 😂.
