  • Yesterday Attendance V Others

I note Derby got 23k against lesser opposition and we had 27k for a Derby .

This statistic shows the attendance of the Championship of the 25/26 season. Clubs are listed by overall attendance descending.

We had 27k for a derby game between 2 teams with nothing left to play for this season and both teams not having a great season. Derby got a smaller crowd and their circumstances are a bit unique after the points deduction with a “ it’s us against the world” attitude so not sure what your point is?

We won’t see 15,000 of them again until we draw Liverpool/insert others, at home in the FA cup, next season

It was nearly 28000 wasn't it, which must have been pretty much near capacity bearing in mind social distancing in the upper ninian and crowd segregation measures (two empty blocks either side of Swansea fans).

The attendance yesterday wasn’t an issue, it was as high as could be expected. The problem is winning these floaters back again. It was a disaster on that front.

Dont need them. I honestly think that we would have had more chance of winning if it had been the usual 18000 there yesterday.

Too right, absolutely let us down again yesterday. If we won every game 5-0 until the end of the season no one will even care

Are the usual 18000 the same 18000 each week, or are there a decent percentage who, for whatever reason that's none of anyone else's business, can't or dont want to attend each week?
Either way, fans can't win. They get criticised by some for not going, then criticised by some when they do.

The atmosphere from many of the 18,000 has been rubbish for much of the season. A full crowd always helps

Not making enough noise. Making the wrong kind of noise. Arriving late. Leaving early.

It was probably the regulars who turned up at 2.55 expecting to go straight to their seat without delay 🙂
