He's like an egg on legs.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostI would much rather watch marvyn hagler v hitman hearns
I think that's proper boxing
Incredible athletes going hammer at each other
Fury can box but he's no athlete , he's got a beer gut and love handles ff sake
Can't his fitness staff get that off him , it's embarrassing
I don't think he's that good just below shit opposition.

Re: Fury v Whyte
Yes hes undefeated but look at his opponents absolute dross.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostMy opinion is that if his level of fitness.....ie beer gut ......means he's top level heavyweight it doesn't say a lot for the division ?
A top level heavyweight shouldnt have his belly and love handles wobbling

Re: Fury v Whyte
That's bollocks Stan. He moves like a middleweight, has a granite jaw and incredible recovery levels, can fight Southpaw and orthodox, switch hitter. Can now fight different styles due to Sugar Hill Steward, his trainer. The man is an incredible boxer.Originally posted by stan butler View PostHe's like an egg on legs.

It was laughable really , if bodybuilders years older than him can cut and shred then why can't he ?Originally posted by stan butler View PostYes hes undefeated but look at his opponents absolute dross.

Re: Fury v Whyte
Some people can't. Fury has never been cut, even in his younger days, plenty of heavyweight boxers aren't. He also went up to 30 stone, so his skin has stretched. Fury wouldn't be the same fighter if he carried about loads of muscle, he'd gas easily and become robotic. He's incredibly fit for the discipline that he takes part in.Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostIt was laughable really , if bodybuilders years older than him can cut and shred then why can't he ?

Re: Fury v Whyte
of course he's an athlete, do you have any concept how much cardio work you have to do to be a boxer? or how exhausting it is constantly moving whilst punching and being punched by an 18 stone man?Originally posted by SLUDGE FACTORY View PostWell he clearly isn't is he ?

for someone who's sport is chucking a bit of string with a hook on it into water you're talking a big game
