After we sang the "where's your wife" chant Alfie. He turned to Grange end, shrugged his shoulders and put out his hands in a "i don't know" gesture. Not a song, but I do remember a funny banner unfurled by West Ham fans of grange end.
The big news story the week of the game was a British woman in Sudan facing a public flogging for making a teddy bear Mohammad.
Banner read something along the lines of “the bear is not Mohammad, but Teddy is our god!”
