    Re: Most impactful signing.

Good question. Has to be Kipre for me- totally different to what we're used to in a centre back. I had a moment of panic when it was suggested in another thread that he was being recalled by WBA- he, along with Alsopp, is fundamental to the way we now play. Sawyers and Rino are a huge upgrade on our midfield from last season and Collins was superb before his injury, but I'm still to be convinced by the other new signings.

Agree, along with the injury to collins who was looking the dog's gonards, we have been unlucky not to have these two fit for selection. I also wish Isaak Davies had not picked up such a bad injury, so much pace and more technical ability than Harris and Watters. In a nutshell we have some quality players on the long-term injury list which is a shame. I was really looking forward to seeing Adams play for us.

Allsop. Impossible to play how we are now trying to without him, and I assume Alnwick has similar skill set too.

They’ll cost you a few goals, and probably a game or two a season but win you far more than they lose.

Going by Steve Morison's pre match media briefing yesterday, it sounds like you won't have to wait too much longer to get a sight of Adams Spedger - the fact that he didn't mention Isaak Davies mind, makes me believe we've got a bit of a wait yet before he's playing again.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned Nkounkou hope I’ve spelt it right
Collins was a class act and everyone on here was gutted when he got injured
However this kid that has replaced him looks a fantastic recruit in a difficult position to fill.
He could have scored on his debut with that drag back and turn inside the box only to see his shot go inches over the bar.
He has quick feet an abundance of confidence which will only get better and isn’t scared of going forward.
I have to say this whole new team inspires belief this season and in Morison we trust.
Hopefully our striking prayers have been answered and we can aim for a top six finish.
            Exciting games ahead lads 😃😃⚽️

I thought Nkounkou was all at sea against Luton, misplaced passes, out of position, although he did seem to sort himself out the longer the game went on. Not a patch on Collins imo, but hopefully he will improve as he gets more Championship experience.
