You might be surprised to learn that no side in the history of the league has ever averaged half a goal a game, or less, and been relegated. There's a simple reason for this: no side has ever had a goal scoring average that low!!!

The lowest goal scoring average is shared by Derby and Sheffield Utd, both in the PL, where they both scored 20 at an average of 0.53. They were both relegated. The lowest average of a side that stayed up is 0.67, achieved by Orient in 1974/5, when they scored 28 in 42 games but finished 12th. They only conceded 39 that season, hence their survival in a rip-roaring season that consisted of 12 0-0 draws and Orient failing to score on 21 occasions but keeping 19 clean sheets.

Teams with a goal average of less than 0.75 have been relegated 90% of the time.

Our lowest average was set in 2013/14 when we scored 32 in the Premier League at an average of 0.84. We have averaged less than a goal a game in 9 seasons, being relegated in 5 of them.

Also that Wintle should only be played in home games, the team should be built around Colwill, Watters should be left out or Watters should be left in, Bagan should be left wing back, we should play with two wingers or one winger or two wingers tucked in, Robinson should be up top on his own or played out left of a two or three, Ojo should be nowhere on the pitch, or Etete should be up front with O’dowda who himself should play left wing, left wing back or up front. Simple really isnt it.
What he did do last night was change things around playing, with wing backs and 2 up front.
Oddly enough we scored 3 goals, something which we haven't seen all season, let's hop it's the start of better things to come, certainly the first half performance was right up there
Odowda and Robinson make things happen.
Simpson at the back had a blinder as well
