  • No fly City

Bus back and for to Boro
Back on bus Friday to Huddersfield

Sign of the times I guess. Last year would have flown.
Anyway Morison has his excuses ready for a tired performance against the Terriers.

    It’s not ideal.

      Re: No fly City

If ever it's justified I think it's a game like tonight midweek where City could fly Cardiff to Tees Valley.

But as a general rule, I don't think any team in the English leagues should be flying to domestic away games, and I'd be quite content with the FA making some kind of environmental stand on that. There may be some minor exceptions like tonight, but I am sure I read that Chelsea flew to Leicester or something ridiculous recently?

Have you seen or been in their coach.

More space and comfortable than a plane.
Ok, I get it’s 5 hours, instead of one, but they’ll be asleep before Newport (that’s if they can get past Newport )

          Re: No fly City

With no game the past weekend they may and probably have gone up a little earlier and made it less of an issue. If not then that's on them.

You wouldn't be popular with Plymouth players!

              Re: No fly City

In these times, it does feel slightly wrong that teams fly to internal games, but the team coach still drives up the motorway EMPTY.

If ever there was a week when flying to the midweek game would help this is it.

                  Re: No fly City

I really thought they may stay up North instead of these long 5 hr+ journeys. Coach may be like a palace but travelling like this very tiring.
Clearly cost cutting big time at CCS.

If they sold the naming rights to the stadium they could afford to get the train at least two or three times a season

No fly is coming to all of us, luckily it won't affect me too much, but I do feel sorry for the more adventurous types.

Earn the right to fly again with results on the pitch. Simples.
