    Re: No fly City

Swansea stayed at Burton the day before the Stoke mid week game. It’s madness.

Hopefully Morison will tell them to win tonight.

By the time you drove from (say) CCS to CWL airport, checked in, did the whole passport thing then flew to Teesside then transferred magically to the R/side there probably wouldn't be much in it either way. 4 Hours door to door? You could be beyond Leeds within that time and almost there.

Sensible, I’d say, have you ever been to Stoke?

              Re: No fly City

It was a long trip home last night by coach. I got off at Cardiff Gate around 3.30am. We got away within 10 minutes of the full time whistle. I can't see they wouldnt've got off their coach until 4am at the earliest, so will have today off. Train tomorrow and then back on a coach at midday on Friday.

It does feel a little unnecessary.

At least they can have a lie in this morning mind

To be fair you can see the management’s point of view, since Flint going, Morrison’s injury etc we’ve been shit in the air.

Weird that they’re catching a train tomorrow but a coach every other time

Whoever was co-coms last night (think it was Purse) said they flew up, not sure where this story came from.

I think that travelling by bus gives more chance
For team building, having a bit of a laugh than by
                      Plane. Maybe that’s just me.
There’s probably a big argument for staying over though given it was a night kick off

Exactly, few cans, cards, a sing song, mooning arses out of the back window............if it’s good enough for Cardiff City Ladies

I saw the Sheffield United coach on its way back from Swansea today which is a fair treck too.

Ok, I get it’s 5 hours, instead of one, but they’ll be asleep before Newport (that’s if they can get past Newport )
                                If going by Air:
                                • Coach to Rhoose: 30 mins
                                • Check-in: 30 mins
                                • Waiting to board: 1 hour
                                • Flight: 45 mins
                                • Taxi to gate: 15 mins
                                • Baggage reclaim: 30 mins
                                • Loading coach: 30 mins
                                • Transfer to Stadium: 30 mins

Total 4 hours 30 mins (stressful?)

                                Conservative estimate.

                                If going by Coach
                                • Coach loaded by staff prior to players arrival
                                • Players arrive ... check that they have phone and wash bag
                                • Get on the coach lads.
                                • Sit down, relax, have a game of cards, watch the BBC news ...
                                • Enjoy the countryside or have a nap on your reclining seat.

                                Estimated 5 hours (relaxing?)
