    Re: you are the manager

I'd ask the trio how much I'd get to spend and they'd tell me not a lot.

I'd then ask what support I would get in the role. I'd get much the same answer. I would then turn down the job if I had any ambition in football.

Tan Out unless he is willing to realise the error of his ways.
If we're not spending any money then at least get a football man in to oversee football operations. Those in place know very little and it shows.

I’d phone Steve Morison and ask him what the plan was for HIS side. Only he really knows the direction in which this side needs to be taken.

            Re: you are the manager

There are a few managers hanging around looking for the right job at a top flight club
            Tuchel
            Pottachino?
            Benitez
            Dyche
            Parker
            Roger's (shortly)

There must be a similar number from every top league in Europe

It follows that there must be the equivalent number out of a job from the 2nd tier of those leagues?

We shouldn't just be looking here in the UK for the best candidate

On a less serious note, if it were me
I'd build a team around Colwill at 10
I'd keep playing a winning side
            I'd develop our own first
I'd send Philogene and the Everton lad back at the first opportunity
First appointment would be an experienced number 2 as my assistant
I' would encourage the players to be out visiting schools factories and work places to develop good relationships in the S Wales community
I would introduce the road show that Warnock undertook to meet and greet the fans
I would also go on a media training course to ensure I didn't come across as an arrogant twat during media interviews.
I wouldn't allow any public criticism of my players in public
Classic example Watters being substituted against Coventry last season, it would be easier to say, we were concerned about his hamstring and took him off to avoid injury, rather than the way it was played out.
It's our team our club, take on one of us and you take on all of us mentality would be instilled into everyone at the club
Unite the club and the fans as a priority
