Would you keep hold of a car you'd always wanted to own, got fed up of and no longer drive. Everything is able to be sold at the right price. As with most other things though the owner probably has his own pie in the sky idea of the valuation too. A valuation that is decreasing every season he weakens our league placing further.
😂😂😂FFS Lewj. Does it need spelling out for you. To sell we need a buyer. There isnt one.

      Re: New owners?

If Tan thinks he is getting back the level of debt he has accumulated by making more bad decisions than good and not capitalising on two visits to the promised land then he is very deluded.

He will at least need to get back to the PL or close to it and even then may need to re-evaluate what he would be willing to accept for the club.

You've got to love the people who seem to think they're ITK on this type of thing.

Tan himself has said there were offers. And I'm the idiot?

Lewj. I agree hes got little interest in the club.

I dont believe for 1 minute there is any serious interest out there though.

I think you are the one listening elsewhere on click bait in the know rumours.

He has said there were offers. He has said that his valuation differs to those of the people offering.

I'm listening to the man who owns the club. If he says he received offers I believe he has received offers. I'd listen to him over you for instance, mainly because you don't know and he is the owner.

I will say again that I do not know why he is still keeping hold of the club. He seems to have little interest in the club any more or in spending a great deal to get us competing for Premier League status again.
If he thinks that making bad decisions and paying money in to the club making the debt worse than it is will be realised in full by the sale value then it is another large thing he seems to have misunderstood in relation to football.
In fact, not just football. If you bought any business and ran it into the ground with rubbish decisions you'd do well to get a decent price let alone add all the debts added through multiple mistakes while running it.

              Re: New owners?

So, after asking if I was Liz Truss and saying it was a bonkers question it appears that your conclusion that we have no people willing to buy the club is the incorrect take on the situation here.
              Source, Vincent Tan himself.

                Re: New owners?

Unless fans complaining about Tan's loss of interest have a few hundred million to spare, talk of new owners is ridiculous. Cardiff City is not an attractive business proposition, and never has been. Vincent Tan is a benefactor, not an investor, and we should be grateful for that.

I'll never forget looking at a bemused Rick Wright after City lost to Barry in the Welsh Cup final at the Arms Park , early 90s, as deluded City fans chanted 'where's the money gone?' at him. There was no no buyer after Rick Wright, and there's no buyer now.

So fans cannot discuss anything about the club unless they have the money to finance it out of their own pocket?

Bank rolling his CEO’s constant bad running of his club you mean? No leaders anywhere from the board, the manager or the team.

You do realise you've got to enter into negotiations to maybe bridge the gap between valuations?

It might be news to a few on this thread but a lot of the time things sell for a price higher than the opening offer. Mind-blowing I know.

You say there is no serious interest in the club. Tan said that there was a few years back and Mehmet has reiterated that recently. You can have a laugh about that all you like.

Offers indicate interest. I also still do not understand why somebody would hold on to a business that is hemorrhaging money (they tell us at every opportunity) and seemingly reject any interest from outside parties without negotiating.

                                Exactly this.

How much of what is being paid monthly is due to decisions that could be better and purely bad ones?
