Off the top of my head:

1 – Better co-ordination with transport for Wales. There is next to zero communication about train and bus transport and more fans should be arriving this way
2 – There should be a cash bar on each concourse. It is totally wrong that you are forced into using a card, and anecdotally queues are worse than ever so that’s not an issue. It’s also ridiculous you can’t buy a programme with cash
3 – Prices of food and drink. It’s too much. I know that’s easy to say, but it really is. Leaves a sour taste in the mouth, but more importantly many just refuse to pay it.
4 – Linked to the above – a happy hour from 1-2 or something would make sense
5 – Allow standing in the Ninian Stand by away fans. This would help to recreate the atmosphere of Ninian Park
6 – Give more opportunities to local companies to sell things – concessions, food and drink, whatever.
7 – Have a better post game offer. I’m sure some fans would welcome allowing the crowds to pass whilst watching the scores, having a drink etc. Can we do that? I am not sure. Should be able to do so.
8 – More seating in the concourse for older fans or fans that need it.
9 – Sort the queues out outside. It never used to take that long to get in the Canton, now it does.
10 – Don’t charge extra for physical tickets if you pick them up.
11 – More interesting music. Play a bit of Hennesseys, or something to get people going.
12 – Also, turn the music off 5 mins before kick off.
13 – Club can’t do this, but a fanzine wouldn’t go amiss. Really miss that.
    14 – More cycle parking
    15 – Student ticket prices
16 - Big Issue sellers should be invited outside and invited to attend games. I'd love to see the club really reach out to certain groups far more and emphasise how we are Cardiff club for all of Cardiff etc.

Generally for me the club just feels more and more corporate. The prices and lack of cash acceptance really do my head in. Just makes me feel like I’m being exploited a bit. Which is nothing new, we are being exploited, it just amplifies it for me.

It should be noted, the club gets some stuff right:
The bluebird mascot is loved by kids
The band in the Canton Is great
Ticket prices are fair, especially in the family stand
The club has put in some safe standing
We still produce a programme, whereas some don’t.
    stewarding seems fair
The ground is comfortable enough I suppose (though give me a clump of concrete on the bob bank in the drizzle any day)
    Good work Jimbo

The catering and prices could be overseen by the club but they choose not to.

If things were more comfortable with cheaper prices then they could televise earlier games and it would be an option for some at least.
I’m pretty sure they recently renewed their contract with the catering company (Compass)

What's with the barriers outside the gates stopping people walking safely and forcing them into the carpark?

Shout out to James for his post too. Lots of good stuff there

Had you bothered to turn up for a game occasionally, you'd know that these are already in place. Pre-match and half-time.

It's a disgrace really. The transport to and from the game (especially on nights like this ) is essential. Makes me really angry that one tbh.

Agree with post match. Unless you are corporate the bars are all closed. I'd stay there longer with a drink to watch the sky scores / reaction.

Main thing for me is a fan zone around the ground. Like Bristol City

Food vans, beer vans etc. An area where you can sample different drinks / food. Encourage people to the ground earlier. You can have more merch on sale as well. We have so much space and it's barely used. What do we have, one burger van maybe. That whole area can one big fan park

This is one area that the club (and most British clubs) are so far behind. Surely a benefit of TfW is that things like this should be easier.

I can't say I have ever seen an advert in a programme or at the game detailing all the various train options to fans. Ninian Park and Grangetown are both within 15 mins walk and between them link up to most of south Wales. There should be a huge promotion on this from the club, TfW and the Welsh Govt to try and hit sustainability targets etc.

It also can be a laugh on the trains - gets fans mixing and singing, is usually a bit less stressful than driving and probably leads to more beer sales in the ground too!

Not sure how many trains you get but I travel on them regularly to watch games. A bit of a laugh isn't a phrase I ever use to be honest. Battling to get on an overcrowded train is always great fun and standing for ages is a joy, but I can't say I ever hear any singing unless it's from someone so pissed that others find him intimidating and hope he's getting off at the next station.

The lack of a matchday bus is a problem. Both nearby stations are far enough away to be an issue for those who are less than mobile.

I often get on at Llandaf and go down toe Grangetown.

Yeah, tbf I have painted a rosy picture of it! But it needn't be as rammed and it is sometimes a laugh if you have a couple of cans with mates, and ideally get a seat.

Nonetheless, thats only a small part of my point - the fact is, much more could be made of it, and the more fans that travel sustainably to games, the better.

There’s no benefit to TfW running extra trains. They’re too full for the ticket man to go round taking money so everyone gets a free ride and TfW get nothing.

I’ve been getting the train for years and can probably count on one hand how often I’ve paid.

Remember those football buses put on to bring fans from all over South Wales to Cardiff City home games

                                Saturday and midweek games

They would have been great if the club had actually paid the bus companies but they didn't so that was the end of that

                                Well done City
