I’m serious, at least with Morison you could see a plan and some good football. We don’t even do that now. The moments of fleeting brilliance, the passing moves that took us from our area to the oppositions area in a few well timed passes are gone.

We looked absolutely clueless yesterday, almost as if we’d never played together before. Worrying and Hudson isn’t the answer.

Of course he isn't. Anybody can see that other than VT himself and his blind supporters.

A ridiculously short and failed spell in caretaker charge of Huddersfield and the fact he is very cheap is more than good enough for our board though. The board are not fit for purpose due to such decisions. Glorified yes men.

VT is still moaning about the £18.5 million we spent on Cornelius and Murphy. We made some money back on Cornelius too. How much do we make in the Premier League again?

I've never had less faith in the owner.

One of the things to come out of last night is that Kipre and Wintle are, arguably, our two most important players. We were also without the attacking player who's been in the best form recently. Allsop, Romeo, Collins, Kipre, Rinomhota, Philogene, O'Dowda and Robinson are good enough at this stage in my opinion and I don't think Simpson is a dud. Sawyers has been a big disappointment, N'Kounkou is so inconsistent, but has fundamental defensive weaknesses, Ojo is useless, Etete raw, Campbell looks like a cheap punt that hasn't come off, Alnwick and Adams who knows and Tanner is clearly thought to be not ready yet. You sign seventeen players and clearly a fair proportion of them are going to turn out to be duds - I'd say two around two thirds of Morison's signings are good given the budget he had to work with or have the potential to be good.

well said, the first half especially was woeful last night, but there were reasons for that.

Hudson would be better off getting a few crap results now and getting his pay off early.

The fans and Hudson are talking survival.
Mad Vinny is talking play offs and promotion.

            This club is ridiculous.

I think giving him until end of the season is a decent approach. As long as there is a decent plan in place for what happens in the summer (I doubt this highly).
Always feel we are never far from a knee jerk decision though. Win 3 on the trot and suddenly he has a shiny new 5yr contract !

There isnt a plan thougb is there?

We need someone with experience now to clear out the mess Morison has made and someone to get the best out of what we have.

                  Re: Hudson confirmed

Hudson will make mistakes for sure, and it doesn't matter who comes in, trying to get a tune out of the crock of shite signed by Morison is almost impossible.
Hudson has to find his best 11, and have the opportunity to move some out and replace with players with a bit of heart.

Will he make more mistakes along the way? probably! However he needs to grow into the role, and experience is often gained by the mistakes you make, as long as he learns and develops his ability, then we will be okay.

I still think we are one or two players from being a half decent side, atm we just have no strength in depth

I hope there's a plan, but as I said I doubt it highly. They may just surprise us all !

'Unless of course he does badly'

Would love to have an idea of what VT means by that, and how it compares to what he's seeing at the moment?

Hes probably being fed the football is much better , we are 1 or 2 players short , when the players gel etc etc.

Plenty of our own fans think this so wouldn't suprise me if hes being told this as well.

We got rid of most of the squad from last season and we’ve not adequately replaced them. If our budget was so small (I don’t think it was) why did we spend £500k on a project in Etete. I don’t think we gave him the 9 shirt to be a project either, I think it’s because he’s clearly not up to it. He isn’t a player. Simpson was dreadful at Rangers and now he’s behind Nelson. Why do we have so many players if the budget was so tight? They’ve thrown loads of shit at the wall and hope some of it stuck. I think we could just about scrape a team of Championship players together and we have a squad of about 30. It’s a joke

I doubt few if any managers could bring in 17 players without some flops. When he became manager we were heading for league 1 with a squad of players designed to play a 'pragmatic' style of football, but were incapable of even doing that. It wasn't 'dinosaur' football, it was worse. We didn't have the sort of squad you could build on - there was nothing there, so apart from the summer recruitment he also found new homes for a number of highly paid, poor footballers. We're playing sides that have built their teams over 3 or 4 seasons - we did it in a matter of weeks. As I said, if we avoid a relegation battle, that's success for this season.

Hudson says still things to talk through on the contract - doesn't look like he has agreed it yet
