The board and owner are the only constant in this series of car crashes and crap decisions yet some still seem to think the only misfiring part of this whole machine is the manager.
lewj, nobody is disagreeing with you mate.
Tan absolutely should shoulder a portion of the blame. However, as Sludge has pointed out, he's our owner and we don't have another waiting in line.
As stated, Morison is responsible for at least a good percentage of the shower of shite that was signed, along with leaving massive, gaping holes in key positions.

Etete is looking like a very stupid signing, at a time when we really didn't need half a mil (plus wages) spunked up the wall.

Morison was a clown, that's all some of us are saying.

Tan has his faults, but he's here to stay, for now at least, anyway.

You can roll over to have your belly tickled by owners and pretend they are at the head of a competent board if you like.

I never have and never will. If I think the board aren't up to it then I'll say so.

Keep hanging on Tan's every, ever decreasing, words though. Clueless :hehe:

          What?

If I was copying posts and putting them on the other board under 3 or 4 different usernames I wouldn't draw attention to it would I?
That was all a bit weird.

You can choose to laud Tan as some super owner if you like. If I think he is getting more wrong here than he gets right then I'll post if I feel like.

Ridiculous posts about me being pro Hammam while you and Stan lick Tan's boots changes little. It just detracts from the topic of the thread.

Logical thing to do, if you keep getting caught out signing duds, would be to get somebody knowledgeable in to guard against it, if you're clearly not bright enough to spot it of course. Not Tan. He says he has been caught out by Cornelius, Murphy and a few in between but has changed very little to guard against it. Is he surprised by the fact it has happened again if he is relying on his clearly limited knowledge in the area?

It is this ignorance and arrogance that is behind many of the bad decisions made at the club.
            Yes we know he's stubborn

But we can't do anything about that

              I disagree.

If fans just stand by while he just plays at football club ownership while being ignorant to the glaring need for more football savvy bodies on the board then how will he ever know. The journalists seem incapable of asking anything resembling a tough question.

If fans voted with their feet until this club was run to the standard fans deserve then he would get the message. As it is fans will drop down to levels not seen for some time but it will be because we're in League 1 rather than any other reason it seems.

                The bottom line is...
                The Squad's not good enough
                The Manager's not good enough
                The Board's not good enough

It ain't a happy place to be at the moment.

About 4 different names in quick succession in the same thread.
Not sure why they do it because the posts are replies to a specific post on here. They don't flow when just copied and dropped in.

As I said all a bit odd.

Thing is if all that isn't good enough then the change has to happen at board level to I'm improve the others.

It can't happen the other way. The squad isn't going to suddenly improve without an improved decision and recruitment process, both at manager and player level, arguably above that too.

We've seen some decent performances despite the results.
We played well against a strong Sheffield Utd side today, and if it wasn't for Nkounkou f*cking up again, we'd have had a point or even all 3.

                          Chill out lads.
Performances haven't been gravy I'll admit, but they've not been too bad when you consider the shit Morison left us in.
It's a tough ask of Hudson at the moment, we're short in a number of key positions.

I do wish he'd address the left-back situation though, and send Ojo out on loan...
But we weren’t ’in the shit’ with Morison…..

I’ve read so much today going on about Ojo, I don’t think he’s half as bad as people want to make out although certainly lacking confidence but we certainly didn’t lose today because of him. He seems to be the scape goat at the moment.

If we were picking up points and say mid table then I think the fans would still moan about players like him but as we are sliding down the table like a nun on a slide he and others are going to get it big style
