  • Morrison The Come Back Kid ?

I would love him to be our main centre back but like Colwill the chances of him even playing again , never mind at this level and being effective enough to make a difference ?

We are clutching at tiny straws here aren't we ?

'Prime' Morrison would be exactly what this team needs. However, his prime was about 2.5 years ago.
His ACL injury, coupled with no real match fitness - it's going to be a brave Mark Hudson if he finds a place for him.

He played the first 45 minutes yesterday for the U23’s and it looked like he’d been out for ages.
      Slow and ponderous
It would take months to get him back to match fitness
If he did return I’d put him up front lol because he’s better than anyone else we’ve got in that position and we know he’s a proven goal scorer 😂😂👍

The aim would be to bed him back in during the remainder of this season with a view to hopefully coming back properly next season I would imagine.
He still has a couple of seasons left in him if he can make a full recovery, he's not someone who's dependent on pace.
To rush him though, would be stupid obviously. If he breaks down again it could finish his career.

It would be smart to get him up to speed but use him very sparingly for the remainder of this season.

I do get the sentiment with Mozza,he was an inspiration on the pitch,a great Captain and he’s been loyal.
              Here’s the sandwich
Apart from nursing him back through his injury which I’m sure everyone would agree he deserves alongside getting paid how anyone thinks he can do a job at the back for us anymore is delusional.
Him and Flint were getting turned at the back every game two years ago
The guys well past his best
The thought of starting him any time soon is bonkers
Let him recuperate and help him get his coaching badges because I’m sure his career isn’t over but just getting started albeit OFF the pitch

 ...yeah, I think that Morrison could make a good coach tbh. He's more cold-blooded than Bamba who I always felt was great on the park but would be too emotional off it. Morrison's got a bit of an edge to him which I like. It's way too soon and I don't believe in these meteoric promotions CCFC keep giving to people who haven't earned it.

Morrison is a good leader but for me too much of a clown (not in a disrespectful sense) to be taken seriously as a manager.

That's what I tend to think

A player like him , great

But it's a bridge too far now

I would be very surprised if he plays for us again which is a shame

The injury and getting back to fitness is against him . To the point of its not going to happen imo

If we're all judged on our worst behaviours we'd all be f*cked in life. I believe people grow and forever change and adapt and think that he'll mature.

Let’s keep quiet and he might grow into Maldini :hehe:

I do find it funny when Cardiff City fans get all high and mighty! We set the bar for bounders and ruffians. :hehe:
