        Wonder whether anyone at the FAW is employed to look into the ancestry of promising young English players. We've had plenty of English born players with Welsh grandparents over the years (and still do).

              I know it's after the fact, but Johnson has actually got a decent defensive game which would have come in handy against Iran, and I'd be starting him on the right against England for that very reason (4-2-3-1).
