Really? I think England are a good side, but if I was a French player watching that first half I'd be delighted to face either side, England were looking shaky at the back and being put on the back foot to the point that even ITV admitted England weren't doing well

England have been the best team so far in this tournament. Granted they have faced some very easy opponents, but other favourites have tripped up against weaker teams.

The irony is that they will face a tougher route to the final than previous tournaments but they have nothing to fear against the likes of France / Spain / Portugal / Brazil / Argentina

Have France impressed so far? They had a good half against Australia and played well against Poland.

There’s no outstanding side, it’s as even a tournament as there’s been.

Good side, but best at the tournament? They were completely contained by a USA side that were kept at arm's length by the Netherlands

I’ve watched those four and they’ve not been more impressive then England.
