    Wow, so edgy.

If you have nothing decent to say why contribute to an thread titled Aaron Ramsey Appreciation.

To reach the levels he did after such a horrific injury at a young age was incredible. One of Wales' greats

The best player ever produced by Cardiff City?

Not produced by us, but Aberaman Athletic, although a local lad-Alf Sherwood, a fullback, who according to the late, great, Stan Montgomery, used to shit all over Stanley Mathews, Mathews even said so himself. I think Sherwood played for us during the 40s and 50s, he was a brilliant player, apparently. Ended up a security guard for the National Coal Board on retirement. Imagine that now!

So true….he and Allen to some degree were the engine that allowed Bale to function so well. I reckon Rambo could do a job for us now, get his confidence back. Maybe he’s had enough of being away and fancies settling down in his lovely pad in Lisvane…..

Not to forget Fred Keenor, surely Cardiff City’s greatest son, played pre WW1 in the Southern League for us. Wounded in that war, there when we gained League status, helped Wales win the Home International Championship three times in 8 years. Played in 2 FA Cup Finals for us, captaining us in a certain one::xmashehe: 432 games for the City, many of them in the top flight. 19 years with the club......now that’s a true legend.

They should build him a statue.

It’d have to be a whip round, the club wouldn’t cough up.

Fred should have had a city centre statue as well as at the stadium. The city centre statue should have been erected way before that west Walian rugby player, who didn’t even play enough games for Cardiff RFC to earn a club cap.

He’s always done it and, while he wasn’t above criticism by any means in the WorldCup, to think being lazy is one of the charges to be laid against him is to seriously misjudge him I’d say.

If Ramsey is suffering mentally after the World Cup, I don’t think he will be alone among the Welsh squad, management and coaching - being as bad as we turned out to be in a tournament the country had been waiting over sixty years for must have been so hard to take because no one saw it coming.
                    This.

He's a brilliant footballer, but when it came to Wales he sometimes tried to carry the team and overextended himself. Can you fault the boy for that? Shame on anyone who's critical of that.

Bale , Rush , Toshack etc

Great players but I have always admired the work ethic and influence and engine of midfielders wether they be creative midfielders or defensive midfielders

                      Allen was our Luca Modric

Ramsey in his day was our .....

Well guys what players did he remind you of ?

For me a gazza without the showboating

That lay off to set up Bellamys winner against the ferrets was pure class

                        That's always bugged me

Great rugby player but nothing to do with Cardiff

Reasons we didnt go up. Weak central midfield. Dave Jones. 44 bloody 2.

After seeing a few interviews with ex players they werent exactly the most professional and liked a party or two.
