I said in another thread and I’m only thinking out loud, but what happens when the next £5m instalment is due, does that mean another 3 window embargo?
So a potential 9 window embargo if we don't pay up? F*cking hell :hehe:
That would be no transfers til, what, 2027? Surely not?
we are obviously in 1 hell of a state, as more players look to go out on loan...
tanner looking likely to leave on loan which is no doubt good for him... but hes a decent prospect and we could have given him a run out, i dont understand this players fighting for places type of theing when the ones in the starting line up are shit...
Tan is going to burn the club to the ground if he doesn't pull his head out of his arse.
I’ve said it before, it’s the red revenge. He’s played the long game, a couple of promotions, two lots of parachute payments have, perhaps, softened the financial blow. Now, it’s f*ck Cardiff City, how dare they rise up and challenge me over my beloved red shirts, badge and oriental dragon. We’re snookered.

I don’t think it’s that at all , otherwise he would have pulled the financial plug years ago. Clearly he’s feeling the effects of the pandemic and how it’s reduced his business interests and wealth.

If that was the case he would've jumped ship during Slade's time at the club when we were doing everything to cut costs.

That’s why I said he’s played the long game, I don’t think he cares that much about the money, he’s certainly wasted enough here. He doesn’t give a shite about us and his henchmen don’t either. We’ve been back up since the Slade days and he had his little bit of ‘Premier Club Owner’ limelight. This Sala thing is the dog with the bone for him regarding the club, the actual football seems to have taken a back seat. He’s ‘running down’ a failing company, the fact that it’s him that’s made it fail seems incidental.

We wouldn't be in this situation if it weren't for the Sala situation which Tan certainly can't have foreseen.
It's a bit of a shit revenge plan:
- Fully back a manager the majority of the fanbase wanted.
- Achieve promotion.
- Back the manager again, ~£50m including the Sala fee.
- Avoid relegation. (All ifs and buts obviously but we were close and Sala could've nudged us over the line)
- Prepare for a 2nd PL season.
