  • Nkounkou

    On his way to France.
Think we will all breath a sigh of relief.
Good luck to him. Seems a decent lad, but not a left back.

there's definitely a player in there somewhere, I think he will surprise a few people

Maybe he'll do a Bale and be a better attacker.

'French side Saint-Etienne are in advanced discussions to loan Everton defender Niels Nkounkou, who is currently on loan at Cardiff City.'

There's a player all right. Just not a full back.

I don’t know why we didn’t at lest try him on the wing.

Have we got a sell-on clause?

                  Re: Nkounkou

We could have tried him up higher but I think the likelihood is running from the back from space was his strength.

                  Unfortunately he couldn't defend.

Wonder if we're close to getting a replacement then. Seems convenient timing with the embargo getting lifted and him going back.

Where did you hear this from? There is nothing on the Club app or BBC?

How can a player be on loan to two clubs at the same time ?

I'd rather O'Dowda or Bagan at left back

                              Definitely.

He was atrocious at his first job of defending.
I'm not sure I've seen a City player as bad positionally.
A few kamikaze charges up field, as exciting as they were, don't change that for me. Not too gutted if he goes to France.
