Didn't we cough up the £5m so we could used the transfer window to bring in some new players ? It's just not adding up.

I haven’t seen that documented anywhere, I think it’s just an assumption that’s been linked. It’s probably a deadline that had to be met to avoid more penalty clauses / interest.

We will have Whitehead until the end of the season..
