I was 5' 10" and miraculously at 57 I still am. I've been called short more than a few times in my life. Cheeky *****.

Wales is rammed with small folk , great for me at gigs and attracting barmaids, as one gets a good view and able to lean over small ones at the bar .

I had a date a few years ago and the female thought I had exaggerated my height in my dating profile. I subsequently went home and measured myself to be half an inch shorter than I used to be. I'm not hunched over with age but, apparently, it's the norm - and women lose even a greater proportion of their height, I discovered.

You're probably of an age (like myself) whereby you'd remember Yahoo Messenger - I have to say, that was great fun!

It's probably a safer place, now that you're no longer on there! :hehe:

Walking groups. I didn't join them to meet the fairer sex but they usually seem to outnumber men considerably on the long walks - and it's a far more rounded way to meet them rather than swiping and all the artifice of online dating.
